Aimee Layson, DNP, RN

Dr. Layson is a full-time nursing faculty at AHU transitioned in 2024 from her adjunct role since 2017. Her degrees include BSN from the Adventist University of the Philippines, MSN-Ed from the University of Phoenix, and DNP from Aspen University. Currently, she co-teaches Health Promotion and Wellness for the BSN Program. She serves on a variety of committees in the Department of Nursing including curriculum, testing, and CCNE standards committees. She is an adult care nurse and has worked in wound and burn care, medical-surgical units, home health, and community medicine. She is service-oriented and gets involved as a volunteer in local and international health and community services.
