Daniel C. Phelps, PhD, serves as faculty for the Master of Healthcare Administration degree program. Dr. Phelps earned both his Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science degrees in Information Studies from Florida State University; a Master of Science degree in Computer Science (INFOSEC) from James Madison University; a Master’s degree in Education focusing on Measurement, Statistics, Assessment, and Evaluation from the University of Illinois at Chicago; and a Master of Science degree in Respiratory Care from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Additionally, Dr. Phelps has a postgraduate certificate in Information Systems and Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School and is a graduate of T.H. Chan’s Principles and Practice of Clinical Research program. In information systems, he is certified as an Information Systems Security Officer (CNSSI 4014), Information Systems Security Professional (NSTISSI 4011), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) as well as being recognized as a Graduate Statistician by the American Statistical Association. In respiratory care, he is licensed as Registered Respiratory Therapist and is an Adult Critical Care Specialist.
