Elizabeth Arroyo, EdD, MSN, BSN, PCCN, RN

Elizabeth Arroyo, EdD, MSN, BSN-PCCN, serves as Assistant Dean of Nursing for AdventHealth University Tampa. Dr. Arroyo earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. She began her nursing career in a local hospital's step-down Intensive Care Unit, where she developed a deep passion for patient care. Dr. Arroyo soon became a preceptor in her unit, discovering her love for both nursing and education. She furthered her education by graduating from Capella University's Master of Nursing Education program and Doctor of Adult Education program. Transitioning from bedside nursing to an outpatient diabetes educator Dr. Arroyo also served as a clinical instructor adjunct for her local college, enhancing her teaching skills. Dr. Arroyo’s passion is instilling core academic values in future nurses, helping them find their purpose.
