Heather J. Evans Anderson, PhD

Dr. Evans Anderson received her BS in Biology from Vanderbilt University and her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed a fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Molecular Cardiology. Her academic career began at Winthrop University in South Carolina where she was an Associate Professor in the Biology department. She moved to Stetson University where she was an Assistant Professor in the Health Sciences department. Dr. Evans Anderson joined AdventHealth University in 2023 to help build the Medical Laboratory Science program.
