Dr. Jacoba Leiper is an Associate Nursing Professor at AdventHealth University Tampa. Dr. Leiper has been a nurse for 38 years and served as a nursing educator in a variety of roles for 20 years. Teaching areas include foundational nursing courses, medical-surgical nursing, research, and leadership. She has taught in a variety of undergraduate nursing programs. Dr. Leiper's research and scholarship include the topics of disruptive behaviors among nurses, reflective practice, and cultural competence in education among others. Dr. Leiper is also versed in accreditation requirements and documents for nursing schools.
