Dr. Juleun A. Johnson serves as a Director of Mission and Ministry in the Central Florida Division of AdventHealth. He is also Lead Chaplain of AdventHealth Celebration. He is a graduate of Oakwood University. B.A in Ministerial Theology, Andrews University, Masters of Divinity. He completed his Association for Clinical Pastoral Education internship and residency (4 Units) at University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital in Birmingham, AL. He is a graduate Claremont School of Theology with a Doctorate in Spiritual Care and Counseling. His dissertation was entitled Pastors As Caring Bridge Builders in Healthcare Settings: End of Life Care Education for Pastors and Community Clergy. Prior to his current assignment he was a staff chaplain at AdventHealth Orlando. He has served as a senior pastor, adjunct professor and serves on several hospital committees. He has served as an adjunct professor at Gulf Coast State College, AdventHealth University and as doctoral advisor at Denver Seminary. He has taught courses on Ethics for Nursing and Allied Health, Identity and Mission in Faith Based HealthCare, Role Fidelity and The Exercise of Power, and World Religions. He is a board member of the Interfaith Council of Central Florida. He is a member of the AdventHealth Bioethics Committee. He is a member of the 2nd Cohort of the AdventHealth Corporate Executive Leadership Program. His research interests include grief, resilience, and end of life care.
