Biography

Lee Ranalli graduated with a BSN from Arizona State University in 2007. He worked as an RN in the Cardiothoracic ICU at UCLA Medical Center until starting nurse anesthesia school at the Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia. He graduated with an MSN in 2010 and moved back to his home state of Arizona to practice as a CRNA. After years of serving as Chief CRNA and Clinical Coordinator, he decided to pursue his passion of becoming a full-time educator in 2017. Subsequently, graduating with a DNP from the University of Alabama in 2018. He is a strong advocate for the profession having served multiple leadership opportunities within the Arizona Association of Nurse Anesthesiology including Board of Director and President. He also enjoys lecturing at CRNA conferences on topics such as second victim phenomena, obstetric anesthesia, and substance use disorder.

He met his wife in nursing school pre-requisites. They have two sons, Ryan (10) and Ethan (9). For fun, they love to travel to national parks and do outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking.
