Michael Merrigan, JD, has served as the Vice President and General Counsel for St. John's Health System and Mercy Health inn Springfield, Missouri for more than 21 years. Prior to moving to Springfield, he was the General Counsel for St. Luke's Regional Health Center in Sioux City, Iowa, for approximately 7 years. He joined the Management Department and the MHA program at Missouri State University on a full-time basis in 2013 and has served as the MHA Program Director since 2015.
