Michele Mitchell, MS, RN, ANP-BC

Michele Mitchell is an Assistant Professor at AdventHealth University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as her Master of Science degree with specialty in Adult Care Nurse Practitioner from Daemen University in Amherst, New York. 
Ms. Mitchell’s career began over two decades ago, where she had the privilege of working as a registered nurse in medical/surgical, telemetry and neurology. She also served as an advanced care provider in a cardiovascular intensive care unit, hematology/oncology mental health, and primary care settings. 
Outside of faculty work, Professor Mitchell is an active member of her local church. She is also active in the American Nursing Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Ms. Mitchell enjoys leisurely outdoor activities with her husband and two daughters.
