Professor Dusetzina has been at AHU since 2018, as a clinical adjunct professor, professional tutor, tutoring coordinator, and finally nursing faculty. Professor Dusetzina nursing career degrees include an Associate of Applied Science nursing degree from Westmoreland County Community College in Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Ohio University, and finally a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with an education specialty from University of Texas at Arlington. Her clinical specialty throughout nursing was pediatric cardiac critical care, having first worked in Pittsburgh before completing almost 4 years of travel nursing in the same specialty. Currently, she holds the title of Success Coach and Remediation Specialist for our nursing department. Research interests currently focus on nursing student success, having spent almost the last 6 years focused on AHU’s nursing students’ success.
