Dr. Stanley Dobias has been a pastor, chaplain, and educator for over 23 years, and has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level for over 13 of those years. He obtained his B.S. degree in Secondary Education from Southern Adventist University in 1990, an M.Div. degree in 1994, and Doctor of Ministry degree in 2001 from Andrews University. In 2011, Dr. Dobias completed bioethics coursework at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University and continued his ethics training at Harvard Medical School during the summer of 2013. In 2013, he was awarded Educator of the Year at AHU. He served as a pastor in Knoxville, Tennessee, Cleveland, Tennessee, and Orlando, Florida. He has taught religion classes at Georgia-Cumberland Academy, Washington Adventist University, and currently AdventHealth University.
