Biography

Dr. Mohammed has been a nursing faculty at AHU since 2025. Her degrees include BSN – University of Phoenix, MSN – University of Phoenix (Education Track), and PhD – Capella University – Nursing Education Specialization. Currently, she teaches Pharmacology in Nursing for the ASN Program. She serves on the ACEN committee in the Department of Nursing, as well as the University. Research interests include physical activity and health, women’s health issues and the impact of diet on health. She is a cardiac nurse and worked in the Cardiac Progressive Care, Neuro Medicine, as well as Geriatric care, and wound care. Dr. Mohammed is passionate about nursing education and the development of future new nurses. She has published her dissertation on her study of “Adjunct faculty teaching experiences” and is supportive of new nurses entering practice.
