Sydney Moran, PhD, RN, CPN

Dr. Moran has been a nursing faculty at AHU since 2013. Her degrees include: ASN – Valencia Community College, BSN- Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences (now AHU), MSN– University of Central Florida-Nursing Education. PhD – Barry University – Nursing Education. She serves on a variety of committees in the Department of Nursing, as well as the University, including the Curriculum Committee and the Alumni Committee. She is a pediatric nurse and worked in the Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit. She also worked as a Patient Placement Coordinator for AdventHealth for Children, and the Pediatric Advanced Life Support Coordinator for AdventHealth prior to moving to education at the University. She has done editing for book chapters, as well as updating and editing computer-based learning (CBL) modules for Echelon. She enjoys supporting her church in many areas, especially as a teacher in the Preschool section.
