Jessica Mejias, APRN, FNP-BC

Since 2022, Dr. Mejias has been a nursing faculty member at AHU. She holds the following degrees: ASN from Valencia College, BSN from Chamberlain University, MSN from Chamberlain University (Family Nurse Practitioner Track), and DNP from Chamberlain University (Educational Leadership Track, with a concentration on Adolescent Depression and Suicide). Currently, she teaches Mental Health Nursing for the ASN Program. 
She has been employed in the nursing profession for twenty-one years, and her experience includes Primary Care, Pediatric Trauma, Neonatal Intensive Care, and Heart Lung Bypass. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she cared for patients of all ages. However, her passion has always been for Women's Health and Education. She believes she has had the most meaningful impact in this area. Her goal is to ensure a change in the areas where it is so desperately needed.
