New: Certified Nurse Midwife Track
Coming Fall 2025
Demand for midwives is growing in Florida. Thirty-nine accredited midwifery programs exist in the U.S., but none are found in Florida – until now. AdventHealth University intends to fill this demand with a new Master of Science in Nursing degree in Midwifery in Orlando. Students who seek admission to the new MSN in Midwifery track must hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with at least two years of labor and delivery experience. The MSN track in Midwifery curriculum is seven trimesters or 28 months in length. Courses are delivered online and in person, offering clinical experience within AdventHealth’s world-class labor and delivery locations in Central Florida.
