Applying for Student Housing
To apply for student housing, you must first be admitted to the University for at least General Studies. Once you've received access to my.ahu.edu, you may fill out an application and pay the $200 deposit online.
Student Housing Costs
A $200 refundable deposit is required to hold your place within the housing complex. All payments are handled exclusively through the AHU Business Office. Your housing bill is added to student school ledger account. The Housing Office does not collect any payments.
Shared bedroom
- $2,355 a trimester or $588.75 a month
- This is the only option available for incoming freshmen.
Private bedroom
- $3,100 a trimester or $775 a month
- This option is available for non-freshmen and program students.
Private apartment
- $3,600 a trimester or $900 a month
- This option is available for non-freshmen and program students.
Roommates
If you know of an individual you would like to room with prior to moving into Housing, send an email UniversityHousing@ahu.edu with your name, and the individual(s) you would prefer to move-in with. There is no guarantee that your request will be processed if your preferred roommate or yourself have not
- been accepted into the University
- paid your 30 days prior to move-in; or
- the Dean has already placed each student.

The Student Housing Handbook is where the polices and procedures are located for housing students. By filling out an application and requesting housing, you agree to abide by the information presented within the handbook.
