AdventHealth University is pleased to welcome Karen Benn Marshall, EdD, MS, as Provost.
Dr. Benn Marshall brings extensive experience in higher education as well as a passion for academic excellence, institutional effectiveness, and strategic planning.
Dr. Benn Marshall earned her Doctorate in Science Education from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Md., her Master of Science degree in Biology from Alabama A&M, and her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Oakwood College. She most recently served as Vice President for Enrollment Services and Retention and Dean for the Center for Student Success at Oakwood University, where she held a variety of leadership roles, including Assistant Provost for Undergraduate Education, Vice President for Academic Administration, Interim Senior Vice President, and Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions.

AdventHealth University, with campuses in Orlando and Denver, offers more than 20 undergraduate and graduate degrees in health care as well as more than 25 industry certifications in high-demand fields.
