Program Effectiveness Data
The performance of the A.S. Radiography Program is reflected through program effectiveness data as defined by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
The program’s assessment plan identifies 3 areas to serve as program effectiveness metrics: program completion rate, credentialing examination pass rate, and post graduate job placement. These measurements represent achievements of the student’s experience, development, competency, and their effectiveness as an imaging professional.
Current program effectiveness data as measured for a five year period:
Credentialing Examination Pass Rate
Credentialing Examination Pass Rate is based on a graduate’s first attempt on the national credentialing examination within six months post-graduation (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography exam). The program benchmark targets a pass rate of no less than 75% at first attempt and within six months of graduation.
Program Completion Rate
Program Completion Rate is defined as the number of students who complete the program within the stated program length. The program benchmark is set for an annual program completion rate of 60% or greater.
Job Placement Rate
Job Placement Rate is defined as the number of graduates who have self-reported employment in the field of radiography within twelve months of graduation. The program benchmark is set for job placement of 75% or more of graduates who are seeking employment within twelve months of graduation, as reported on received graduate surveys
