Construction begins on the 16,000-square-foot site for AdventHealth University Denver.
AdventHealth University Denver officially begins construction on a 16,000-square-foot site that will facilitate expanded student enrollment, helping to stem the shortfall of essential health care workers in the community and throughout the U.S.
“AdventHealth University is committed to playing a vital role in the health care workforce, and expanding our Denver site is one important way we can develop more health care professionals who practice health care as a ministry,” said C. Josef Ghosn, president of AdventHealth University. “This is an exciting day for AdventHealth University.”
AdventHealth University Denver, celebrating its 15th anniversary, offers degrees in nursing, sonography and radiography. The new site will include state-of-the-art simulation equipment, high-fidelity mannikins, an energized lab and expanded student and classroom space. In addition, the new site is situated in the same building as the AdventHealth Rocky Mountain Region headquarters, 6061 S. Willow Drive in Greenwood Village, providing opportunities for synergy between the two organizations.

A Blessing Ceremony with student, faculty and health care representatives consecrated the space and celebrated the start of construction.
AdventHealth University Denver is one of three instructional sites for AdventHealth University, with a campus in Orlando and a site in Tampa as well as online offerings.
